Heather Cain - Petal Pink Flower Farm
When the Cains started renovating their farm in 2013, Heather had no intention of being a flower farmer. But she did plant a row of zinnias next to the tomatoes. The next year she planted two rows. Four years (and many flowers) later she decided to become a flower farmer.
Petal Pink Flower Farm, which was named by Heather’s son, grows flowers for florists in the Wilamette Valley of Oregon. They specialize in growing unique varieties and colors that are sought after by designers, using organic practices. They also grow many crops specifically to dry, and are expanding their dried flower offerings to include retail wreaths and dried bouquets. See more of what she is doing here.
